The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of town called Katajanokka, close to the Market Square and in a neighbourhood of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil buildings. The city centre sights, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive just a few steps away. The train and bus stations are around 2 km away, while Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 18 km from the hostel.

135 rooms, including 25 single rooms and 100 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. The hostel provides a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.
