The Kalverstraat with its abundance of shops is nearby as are renowned tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace and Madame Tussaud's. The surrounding area is littered with international restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It is just a stone's throw to the main railway station and the nearest tram stop. The Indoor ski centre Spaarnwoude is just 10 km west of Amsterdam and it is just 15 km to the beach, the North Sea and Schiphol airport.
